Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has announced its 5-50-500 charitable giving campaign, celebrating the fifth anniversary of the combination of Southern Wine & Spirits and Glazer’s in 2016 by donating $10,000 to 50 charities for a total of $500,000.
Charities were chosen through an internal survey process wherein all Southern Glazer’s employees across 44 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, and Canada, were able to submit their favorite local charities for consideration.
From a list of more than 3,100 submissions, Southern Glazer’s VolunCheers Ambassadors, who are stationed across the company’s footprint to champion local volunteering and giving efforts, narrowed down their market’s submissions to make the final charity selections.

With the 5-50-500 campaign, we’re able to make an even greater difference in their local communities.”
Employees have logged more than 42,000 volunteer hours in support of various causes since the launch of Southern Glazer’s volunteering and giving platform, VolunCheers Online, in 2018.
