Messina Hof Winery just released its Off Dry Collection, a brand-new collection of three white wines. These wines pair with a variety of cuisines and feature bright flavor profiles, including notes of fruits and florals in each bottle, the winery states.
The goal for Messina Hof was to craft each wine with a balanced ‘not too dry’ and ‘not too sweet.’ As part of the Artist Series, all wines feature artwork from Messina Hof’s Texas Wine Label Competition held at the Wine & Roses Festivals every year, according to the winery. This label features “Turquoise Geode” by Kit Rae, the 2021 winner.
Here are the wines in the new Off Dry Collection:
- The Off Dry Gewurztraminer 2023 is a bright white wine, offering a delicate dryness with flavors of lychee, ginger and mango on the palate. This varietal pairs well with seafood, pasta and spicy dishes.
- The Off Dry Muscat Canelli 2023 balances tart flavors of apricot, peach and melon with softer flavors of passion fruit and jasmine. This varietal pairs well with vegetables, poultry and spicy dishes.
- The Off Dry Riesling 2023 has subtle sweetness, combining notes of fresh grapefruit and spiced pears on the nose with flavors of green apple and lime zest on the palate. This varietal pairs well with seafood, pork and spicy dishes.

The Off Dry Collection will be available for purchase in late March at all Messina Hof Winery locations, select wholesale retailers and online, the winery states.
