Preservation Distillery and Farm recently introduced two limited distillery-only offerings of Very Olde St. Nick whiskeys. The bottlings are a celebration of the art of whiskey-making at Preservation, the distillery states.
Very Olde St. Nick’s “Notorious O.S.N.” is an offering from Preservation’s historic collection of vintage casks. Released at 16 years and cask-strength 112.5 proof, the whiskey heavy on the nose with flavors across the spectrum, according to the distillery.
Likewise, the Very Olde St. Nick “Straight Outta Bardstown” edition is a 9 year Kentucky Bourbon at a roaring 130+ proof, the distillery states.
Branded as Olde St. Nick, these bottlings are tributes to the company’s decades-long history of releasing flavor forward, intense with complexity bourbon and whiskey.
Created in 1986 and under the same ownership for more than 35 years, Olde St. Nick boasts small releases from many years of methodically collecting vintage stocks, or barrels that are now coming of age. Preservation owns its own Kentucky distillery producing in extremely small batches, and today, are in the position to produce and bottle slightly more of these gems with a focus on distribution in key North American markets, according to the distillery.
