Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) has announced that Bill Edwards, Senior Vice President, National Accounts, On-Premise will be leaving the Company, effective January 1, 2023.
Mr. Edwards will support his team’s transition following the announcement of a long-planned National Accounts restructuring.
“Bill’s top-notch leadership has successfully positioned Southern Glazer’s as the distributor partner of choice in the on-premise channel,” said Chris Williams, Executive Vice President, National Accounts, Southern Glazer’s. “He is a true innovator in the beverage alcohol space and we’re thankful for the strong foundation he’s built for our National Accounts business.”
Mr. Edwards began his 18-year career with Southern Glazer’s in 2004 as Vice President, National Account Sales, On-Premise before stepping into his most recent Senior Vice President role in 2016. Prior to his tenure at Southern Glazer’s, Mr. Edwards served in leadership roles at Darden Restaurants.

An announcement for Mr. Edwards’ replacement will be forthcoming. Mr. Edwards will work closely with his successor during the transition.
