Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has promoted Adrian Ruiz to the new role of Vice President of Chains, CA, effective immediately.
Ruiz, who will report to Executive Vice President and General Manager of Southern Glazer’s California Steve Harden, will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Chain Sales and Merchandising Divisions for Northern and Southern California.
“We are excited to have Adrian’s leadership and experience unite the state for our chain customers, sales teams, and supplier partners,” says Harden.
Ruiz, who most recently held the title of Vice President of Merchandising for Southern California, joined Southern Glazer’s in 1996 as a Chain Territory Manager and over the past 24 years, has excelled in various chain roles within the Company. He is a Southern Glazer’s “Commitment to Excellence” award winner and a proven “Emerging Leader,” the company says, having completed Southern Glazer’s Emerging Leaders Program — the Company’s 18-month leadership development program.
Ruiz is a graduate of Whittier College with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Economics.
