Rocket Pop is the latest Pour Ready cocktail expression from Central Standard Craft Distillery. The fruit-forward bottled cocktail boasts flavors of blue raspberry and cherry, crafted with Door County Cherry Vodka, the distillery states.
“We’re kicking off the season with a cocktail that embodies Wisconsin summers,” said Pat McQuillan, co-founder of Central Standard Craft Distillery, in a news release. “We set out to create a flavor that’s nostalgic to Midwesterners, bringing forward memories of beach days, festivals and other summer celebrations.”
With the Pour Ready line launching in 2022, Rocket Pop joins Central Standard’s line of RTD cocktails, which includes Door County Cherry Vodka Lemonade, Door County Cherry Vodka Mule, Red Cabin Lemon Honey Bourbon Smash and Red Cabin Peach Bourbon Smash. Rocket Pop has an ABV of 15% and will come in 750-mL and 1.75L bottles, the distillery states.
“We’re in the business of bringing people together. This is a great example of how we’re making craft cocktails easy to enjoy so you don’t have to play both bartender and host all night,” said Jim Kanter, Chief Commercial Officer, in the release.
Rocket Pop will be widely distributed across major retail and independent liquor stores throughout Wisconsin, hitting shelves starting on May 10, according to the distillery. It will also be available at festivals and outdoor venues like Lake Country DockHounds, the Wisconsin State Fair and Bastille Days.
