Overview

Reporting directly to the VP, Supplier and Customer Collaboration, the Senior Director of Supplier and Customer Collaboration is responsible for leading SGWS’s most strategic and complex Partner Collaboration Programs, focusing on strategic suppliers with $1B+ revenue and the largest national accounts customers. These cross-functional programs transform the WoW and unlock joint savings, efficiencies and additional revenue generating opportunities across SGWS’ end-to-end value chain.

Each program is rigorously governed and comprised of numerous workstreams which can include but are not limited to Network Optimization, S&OP Transformation, B2B and B2C eCommerce Collaboration, System Integration, Data Sharing and Analytics, Commercial Planning and Execution, Multicultural Programming, Sustainability/POS Optimization, Revenue Management, and Replenishment Efficiencies. 

The Senior Director of Supplier and Customer Collaboration will work with cross-functional Executive Leadership internally and with the respective external partners to design, implement and manage the Collaboration Program through its lifecycle, ensuring that wins are captured, roadblocks are removed and supporting the teams with the strategy through execution of each opportunity within the respective program.

S/he will manage the overarching Program Governance structure and will facilitate and prepare materials for all Executive Program Updates and Steering Committee meetings. Additionally, this role will develop replicable solutions and best practices that can be offered to various strategic partners, minimize duplication of effort across various functions and projects and “pilot” new initiatives based on the latest landscape, capabilities and opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Supplier and Customer Collaboration Lead on custom Supplier Collaboration Programs for SGWS’s largest suppliers ($1B+ revenue)
  • Own the Program from design through to program completion – working with internal and external leadership to align on the scope, resourcing, timing, governance structure, and capturing of the wins
  • Lead the overarching program governance – ensuring timely workstream updates for SteerCo meetings and facilitating all overarching Program Update meetings and Executive Updates
  • Support the workstreams in the strategy through execution of the in-scope opportunities
  • Drive the development and execution of Customer focused Collaboration Programs with SGWS’s largest national accounts
  • Collaborate with the VP, Supplier and Customer Collaboration in evolving the overarching department strategy to increase depth and breadth of partners that can be supported with this model and opportunities that can be addressed
  • Develop replicable solutions and best practices that can be offered to various strategic partners, minimize duplication of efforts across various functions and projects, and “pilot” new initiatives based on the latest landscape, capabilities, and opportunities
  • Educate our supplier and customer partners on current and new capabilities within the organization that would add value to implement with strategic suppliers
  • Provide feedback and advise leadership on data-driven solutions addressing Supplier and Customer business opportunities
  • Support and develop the Supplier & Customer Collaboration Director and Managers
  • Embed this capability into the SGWS organization – ensure all functions are aware of it and partner with us to deliver optimum savings efficiencies and improved ways of working for our supplier and customer partners

Qualifications

  • BBA or Bachelor’s Degree in like field; MBA strongly preferred 
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including Executive storyboarding
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Advanced Project Management Experience
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 25%
  • Prior experience in Management Consulting and/or within the Wine and Spirits Industry in a Strategic Commercial or Leadership Role
  • Experience driving multi-million dollar projects yielding transformative value
  • Strong understanding of the three tier model 
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a variety of internal/external customers
