Southern Glazer’s Appoints Ryan Lumaco as Executive Vice President, General Manager

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits recently promoted Ryan Lumaco to the position of Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Alaska, Idaho, and Washington markets.

In this role, Lumaco will report to Patrick Daul, Southern Glazer’s President, Western Region, the company states. His promotion will be effective at the end of 2023 following the retirement of current Executive Vice President, General Manager, Pacific Northwest – John Klein.

“Ryan is a true change agent, capable of continuing to enhance the culture and route-to market in these important markets,” said Daul in a new release. “The outstanding relationships he’s built from decades of working in the region make him the ideal leader to take on this role. With Ryan at the forefront, I am confident in our ability to continue driving positive results across these markets.”

Lumaco’s 25-year career commenced in 1998, when he joined E. & J. Gallo Winery as a Field Marketing Manager. After 11 years with Gallo, Lumaco embarked on a new chapter in 2009, when he joined Southern Glazer’s as the Vice President, General Manager of Oregon. From there he went on to assume his most recent role of Vice President, General Manager of Washington in 2014, where he has continued to lead with success for the past nine years.
