Beck Family Estates Expands Relationship with Winebow

Beck Family Estates announces that as of June 1, 2020, Winebow California will be the exclusive distributor for Graham Beck, Angela Estate and Steenberg Vineyards wines statewide.

Beck Family Estates is the exclusive importer and sales agency for sparkling wine house Graham Beck and Steenberg Vineyards, both from South Africa, as well as Angela Estate and the forthcoming Abbott Claim from Oregon. Joining with Winebow California is an expansion of the relationship between Beck Family Estates and Winebow, an importer and distributor of fine wine and spirits from around the world.

“We are proud to partner with Winebow, given their reach into all corners of the Golden State fine wine market and the synergies they provide for all of our brands elsewhere in the U.S. We are looking forward to a mutually rewarding relationship in California,” says Clay W. Farmer, Vice President, Sales Beck Family Estates.

Winebow is currently the distributor for Graham Beck wines in 16 states and for Angela Estate wines in seven states. Angela Estate — specializing in chardonnay and pinot noir wines from the Willamette Valley — is undergoing a branding update to become Angela Vineyards, and the new distributing relationship in California is well timed to capitalize on these new wines and packaging entering the market.

Erle Martin, Executive Vice President, Wholesale Sales for Winebow says the distributor is “honored to once again be representing Beck Family Estates in California and further strengthening this important relationship throughout the Winebow network. Graham Beck was proudly represented by Henry Wine Group for many years prior to its sale to Winebow and this is a welcome homecoming.”

In addition, through the end of the month of June, Beck Family Estates is pledging $5 per case sold to its distributor partners, of any of its brands and wines, towards industry relief. 50% of the total generated will be donated through the James Beard Foundation’s ‘Open for Good Campaign’, and the remaining 50% will be distributed to other funds in key local markets for Beck Family Estates’ wines and team.
