Republic National Distributing Company has announced a new program that recognizes the efforts of employees amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the last few weeks, RNDC and Young’s Market Company associates nationwide have “demonstrated heroic leadership” in servicing suppliers, customers and communities, the company says. As part of the supply chain, drivers, warehouse associates, merchandisers and sales professionals have worked to “ensure retail businesses are stocked daily, working with buyers who service RNDC and Young’s communities.”
To recognize them for their efforts, RNDC has launched a Hero Bonus Program for trade-facing RNDC and Young’s associates who are supporting the community during the COVID-19 public health emergency.
“We have an extraordinary team of associates who are showing up to work every day, interacting with others and sustaining our business,” says Tom Cole, CEO and President. “We are grateful for their sense of commitment to deliver to essential grocery and beverage alcohol outlets across our network.”
This bonus recognizes their dedication to customer service, the company says, and it expresses the company’s gratitude and appreciation for going above and beyond in their job during these unprecedented times.
“RNDC is adamant about recognizing drivers, warehouse workers, merchandisers, sales reps, and the leaders who are driving the industry in unprecedented times,” says COO Bob Hendrickson. “We recognize and appreciate the work these associates are conducting to ensure we meet the needs of our community.”
“RNDC will continue to monitor this critical situation and take appropriate actions for its associates and business partners, as needed,” he adds.
