RNDC Announces California Fire Relief

RNDC announced the launch of a sales donation program to provide disaster relief support to Napa and Sonoma counties following the devastating wildfires in Northern California.

The program will benefit the Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund and Sonoma County Resilience Fund to provide assistance to the victims of the fires through the sale of Napa and Sonoma County wine brands throughout the month of November. For every case sold, RNDC will donate 50 cents. The funds will assist in charities providing immediate relief and recovery to those affected. Additionally, RNDC also hopes to have a significant positive impact on its suppliers’ business and recovery efforts, with more than 800 Napa and Sonoma County brands in its portfolio.

“We are deeply saddened by the wildfires in this beloved area of the country, and our thoughts are with all of our winery partners and suppliers throughout the state,” said RNDC President and CEO, Tom Cole. “As we witnessed these events unfolding, RNDC set out to find a way to support both impacted residents and our business partners. This donation program will allow RNDC associates and our customers to help support our suppliers’ businesses and provide critical support to those who need it most.”

Many of the impacted Napa and Sonoma suppliers recently supported RNDC’s efforts to help its own associates following this year’s hurricane season. With RNDC markets impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Nate, suppliers donated to the RNDC Relief Fund, which provides financial support to RNDC associates who are impacted by natural disasters. “While it is with heavy hearts, we are fortunate to be able to return the support to help our partners recover during this time of great need,” said Cole.
