Responsibilities

  • Ownership of long- and short-term brand strategies, strategic brand building efforts and delivering annual operating plan.
  • Own brand-level P&Ls across the portfolio; make sure plans are aligned with strategies with emphasis against below the line trade activities.
  • Lead, inspire, coach marketing team of 12+ roles including internal trade, brand and creative teams and outside partners including agencies, brand owners and functional experts.
  • Be key member of Prestige leadership team, working closely with cross-functional leaders in commercial, finance, operations, HR and legal, among others, to drive total business performance.
  • Serve as the face of Prestige in key meetings with outside suppliers and agencies, along with other leadership.
  • Serve as source of best practices and guide trade team in developing comprehensive annual brand activation plans for key brands within the portfolio, segmented by distributor partner and channel.
  • Work with trade and commercial teams to create tailored regional and local brand activation programs aimed at key customers and distributors to drive achievement of annual sales plans.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing agencies and leadership to ensure alignment and maximize support from a branding standpoint.
  • Incorporate data analytics into trade marketing strategies to drive informed decision-making and optimize sales performance.
  • Analyze financial reporting to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement within the marketing function.
  • Conduct regular market visits and surveys to evaluate the performance of existing partners and identify sales training needs to address any gaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience with pricing analytics.
  • AS400 experience (preferred).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Suite preferred.
  • 10+ years (if VP) of related experience in beverage alcohol industry.
  • Proven track record of success in trade marketing, sales management or related roles within the beverage alcohol industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Brand and Trade programming development experience across a national level utilizing budgets, partners and agencies.
  • Proven leadership of managing larger teams the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data analytics tools and software for decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
