Overview

The Brand Manager is responsible for the alignment of the supplier annual business plan with channel managers. This individual must have a thorough understanding of commercial impact regarding trade offerings. This individual is an expert on pricing and margin management and can align and champion Breakthru Beverage business rules. This individual is the supplier central point of contact for pricing and inventory for assigned suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supplier strategic pricing objective in conjunction with Breakthru Beverage margin guidelines and objectives.
  • Set strategic pricing direction for channel teams to assist in developing channel business plan.
  • Develop and execute pricing strategies, statewide.
  • Communication of strategic pricing objective and pricing model to Channel Teams.
  • Deliver on volume, sales, and profitability objectives by brand.
  • Be accountable to the Finance Team regarding supplier receivables.
  • Negotiate and manage tactical budget with regard to pricing as indicated by the channel business plan.
  • Participate in fiscal and quarterly planning sessions with business planning teams.
  • Identify margin opportunities at all levels of the hierarchy and provide business solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of distributor margin streams against assigned objective.
  • Become an expert with all functionalities of Trade + and have a thorough understanding of the outcomes of all entries.
  • Develop and manage viable price models inside Trade + for all assigned price groups.
  • Provide monthly inventory report highlighting under stock, over stock, and aged inventory, and offer solutions.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Brand or Product Management within the industry or a similar industry.
  • Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software.
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytic and Reporting skills.
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.
