Bacardi Launches Tails Cocktails RTDs

As the RTD movement continues its momentum, Bacardi has launched Tails Cocktails in the U.S. market.

These premixed drinks, made for the home bar, contain spirits from Bacardi’s portfolio of products.

The Covid-19 pandemic fueled a rise in at-home mixology. Home gatherings that include premium RTDs have continued post-pandemic, with consumers enjoying the quality and convenience of these easy-to-serve cocktails.

“The trend of entertaining at home continues to grow, and Tails offers the perfect way to upgrade your at-home bar game,” says Alex Tomlin, SVP Marketing, Bacardi North America. “For people who may feel they don’t have the skills, tools or time — this is an easy solution to make a perfectly balanced cocktail at home.”

“Now, you can experience the premium flavor of a high-end cocktail crafted from scratch by simply adding ice, shaking and pouring,” Tomlin adds.

Building on its success in the European markets, Tails Cocktails comes in three varieties starting in June in select U.S. markets.

These include the Lime Daiquiri made with Bacardi rum, as well as the Espresso Martini cocktail and Passion Fruit Martini cocktail, both made with Eristoff vodka.

The Pomegranate Margarita, made with Cazadores tequila, joins the lineup later this year as an exclusive SKU for the U.S. market.

Each 375-ml. bottle makes approximately three to four cocktails. The products are 20% ABV, and include a QR code that links to a 30-second “how to” video explaining the simple serving steps. Ideas on how to up your cocktail game are also included, from garnish options to picking the perfect glassware for your occasion.

The suggested retail price is $14.99 per 375-ml. bottle.
