National Cocktail Day is right around the corner, ushering in the best ways to savor a beverage while out with family or friends, during date night or even after a long day of work. Celebrated on March 24 each year, there are so many different concoctions that consumers can craft to cheers this holiday.
We’ve put together a list of some of our favorite cocktail recipes, both with and without alcohol, that are suitable for anyone who wants to participate in National Cocktail Day.
Blood Orange Fizzing Citrus Breeze
Ingredients
- 3oz Fresh Blood Orange Juice
- ½ oz Heavy Cream
- ½ oz Lemon Juice
- ½ oz Lime Juice
- 1 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 Egg White
- Blood Orange HOP WTR
Instructions
- Dry shake everything in a shaker except for the Blood Orange HOP WTR.
- Add ice and shake until chilled.
- Strain into a glass with no ice.
- Top with Blood Orange HOP WTR and garnish with thyme.
SKYY Lavender Lemonade
Ingredients
- 1.5 parts SKYY® Vodka
- 1 part lemon juice
- 0.5 oz lavender syrup
- 4 parts soda water
Instructions
- Add the first three ingredients to a shaker and shake with ice.
- Strain into a collins glass.
- Top with soda water and garnish with lavender sprig and lemon wheel.
Espolon Pimienta
Ingredients
- 1.5 parts Espolon Tequila Blanco
- 2 parts Fresh orange, red or yellow bell pepper juice
- 0.75 part Cumin Syrup
- 0.75 part Lime Juice
- Pinch Salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake for about 15 seconds.
- Line the rim of the glass with a chile-lime salt.
- Strain into the glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wheel.
The Botanist Crab Apple Collins
Ingredients
- 2 oz The Botanist Islay Dry Gin
- 1 oz green juice
- Soda water
- Ice
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients into a shaker and shake with ice.
- Strain over ice into a collins glass.
- Top with a splash of soda water.
- Garnish with a fanned apple slice.
Campi Cooler
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz Amante 1530
- 1 oz dry vermouth
- ½ oz fresh lime juice
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- 2 bar spoon Italian balsamic vinegar
- 2 dash angostura bitters
- 3 oz soda water
Instructions
- Gently combine over ice in a collins glass.
- Garnish with a lemon wedge and a maraschino cherry
Green Apple Margarita
Ingredients
- 1 ½ oz 1800 Cristalino
- 1 oz lime juice
- ½ oz agave syrup
- ½ oz apple or pear brandy
- ¼ oz melon liqueur
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin.
- Add ice and shake.
- Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a thinly sliced green apple half-wheel and place over the rim of the glass.
