Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) has announced reporting structure changes and the next level of leadership appointments for the integrated RNDC/Young’s Market Company Accounting Team, led by Tammy Curtis, Corporate EVP and Controller, and Corporate Treasury Team, led by Dennis Bashuk, Corporate EVP and Treasurer.
Tammy Curtis joined RNDC in 2014. Prior to RNDC Curtis worked for KPMG, Morgan Stanley, and in private equity. Her team is responsible for Accounting, Tax, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Supplier Accounts Receivable, and Financial Reporting.
Under Curtis’s guidance, Malena Mer, VP, Finance, is responsible for Accounting, Accounts Payable, Supplier AR, and Financial Reporting for Young’s.
Germaine Daniels, Director, Payroll, is responsible for Payroll at Young’s.
Ben Neujahr, Director, Tax, is responsible for the Tax function at Young’s and will report to Emile Sartalamacchia, Corporate Director, Tax.
Bashuk joined RNDC in 2004 after careers with United Liquors and Boeing. He is responsible for leading an integrated team of accounting and financial experts managing all Banking and Retirement Benefits related activities. Going forward Bashuk also will become more involved in the Company’s Risk Management function.
Under Bashuk’s leadership is Francie Purnell, Director Retirement Benefits. Purnelll also is responsible for the RNDC Foundation, Relief Fund and Scholarship Program.
Jamie Qazi has been appointed to Assistant Treasurer with responsibility for all treasury functions including cash forecasting and cash management at Young’s.
Joe DeFelice, Treasury Manager, continues to manage RNDC’s treasury operations.
The Corporate Accounting and Treasury divisions report to CFO Nick Mehall.
