Lipton Hard Iced Tea is expanding its flavor portfolio with the addition of Lipton Hard Iced Tea Citrus Green Tea. This newest hard flavor is expected to generate momentum since Citrus Green Tea delivered 46% of Lipton RTD sales, the company states.
“With a little over a year under our belts, Lipton Hard Iced Tea sales numbers continue to exceed projections,” said Lisa Texido, brand director, Lipton Hard Iced Tea, in a news release. “With that, we wanted to deliver even more variety to consumers and knew that a Citrus Green Tea flavor made sense since it’s already Lipton’s top-selling flavor. The refreshing new flavor is made with real-brewed Lipton green tea as the base and amped up with 5% alcohol!”
Available now in 24 oz. cans, Lipton Hard Iced Tea Citrus Green Tea will join the lineup of flavors inspired by Lipton tea fan favorites: Lemon, Peach, Half & Half and Strawberry. All five flavors come in a 12-can variety pack or a single-serve 24 oz. can, according to the company. Lipton Hard Iced Tea is available at retailers and convenience stores across 20 select states, with more roll outs expected soon.
