Guy Fieri shared that the product from two of Santo Spirits’ freight trucks was stolen on the weekend of November 9. The trucks contained 440 cases of tequila, or 24,240 bottles, including Santo Blanco, Reposado and a specially-made Extra Añejo, which took 39 months to create. The value of the product is about $1 million.

With the spirits industry still experiencing a softer market after record high sales during Covid, producers have worked overtime to come up with creative marketing solutions to keep sales flowing. Our 2024 Spirits Supplier of the Year, Suntory Global Spirits is hitting its stride, with Marker's Mark, Hornitos, Knob Creek and Basil Hayden increasing case sales from 2022 to 2023.

The Yuengling Company will be expanding into Illinois in 2025, announcing new wholesaler partners to sell its portfolio of beer brands in the state. Next year, consumers in Illinois will see Yuengling in bars, restaurants and retail locations throughout the state.
