Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) has appointed Jennifer Chaplin Tolkin to Executive Vice President, Managing Director, Campari, effective April 1, 2025.
Chaplin Tolkin will be replacing Garrett McGuiness in this role. Beginning April 1, McGuiness will report to Gene Sullivan, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer, according to the company. He will continue supporting Chaplin Tolkin during the leadership transition until he assumes a new role within the organization, to be announced at a later date.
In her new position, Chaplin Tolkin will report directly to Sullivan and lead Southern Glazer’s dedicated Campari Division, according to the company, overseeing the commercial strategy and business performance across Southern Glazer’s national footprint. She will be responsible for driving the supplier’s initiatives by partnering with regional leadership and cross-functional teams to optimize market performance and maximize growth opportunities for the Campari portfolio.
“Jennifer has been a driving force behind the success of our Campari business and her leadership, vision, and deep industry expertise make her the perfect choice to take on this role,” said Sullivan in a news release. “Her ability to translate supplier strategy into commercial execution is unmatched and we’re confident she will continue to drive outstanding results.”

Chaplin Tolkin joined Southern Glazer’s in 2017 as a Communications and Events Manager within the Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility department. She later transitioned into commercial leadership, according to the company, holding key roles such as National Director, Aperol Strategy, Director, Supplier Management & Business Development, and Vice President, Family-Owned Brands and East Region Trade Development Director. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Commercial Sales, Campari Division, where she played a pivotal role in driving and strengthening Campari’s presence across Southern Glazer’s network.

Southern Glazer’s will begin an internal and external search for the replacement of Chaplin Tolkin’s role, according to the company. An announcement for her successor is forthcoming.
