Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) has appointed Robert (Bob) Brooks to the role of executive vice president, general manager, New Mexico, effective February 3, 2025.
In this role, Brooks will report to Lewis Kenrick, president, West Region, Southern Glazer’s and will be responsible for leading all business activities in the New Mexico market, according to the company.
“Bob is an experienced and proven leader who’s achieved significant success for Southern Glazer’s markets,” said Kenrick in a news release. “He strives to implement strategic initiatives while fostering a culture of recognition and ensuring world-class customer service across all levels. We’re looking forward to seeing Bob harness his expertise and passion to create a lasting impact on the New Mexico business.”
Brooks began his career with Southern Glazer’s in 2007 as a sales trainee. During his 18 years with the company, he’s held positions of increasing responsibility, including sales consultant, general sales manager, director of sales for Northwest Arkansas, director of commercial operations for Arkansas and vice president of commercial strategy for Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee. In his most recent role, Brooks led significant impact while serving as vice president, general manager for Southern Glazer’s of Tennessee, according to the company.
