Overview
The Vice President of Sales plays a key leadership role in driving revenue growth, profitability and market share for Martignetti Companies. This position oversees divisional strategy, manages a high-performing sales team, fosters supplier relationships and ensures alignment with corporate goals. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily, weekly, monthly and fiscal year sales performance to meet and exceed corporate objectives.
- Develop and implement divisional strategies that drive sales, profitability and employee growth and development.
- Provide detailed and accurate forecasts, create and communicate budget plans and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Hire, train and lead district managers and teams to ensure alignment with divisional goals.
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships to support sales initiatives and achieve corporate profitability goals.
- Work strategically in the field alongside managers, salespeople and suppliers to maximize market opportunities.
- Create, support and analyze programs to support sales objectives, initiatives and customer satisfaction with portfolio managers and suppliers.
- Lead high-level presentations for suppliers, customers, internal stakeholders and ownership of business performance and opportunities.
- Manage customer expectations, deliver value and contribute to a superior customer experience.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of sales experience, with a strong background in fine wine and spirits.
- Proven experience in management and motivational techniques.
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and vehicle registration.
