Alma del Jaguar Tequila just introduced their latest release: Tequila Añejo. Produced and imported by Morningside Brands, this release is crafted from 100% pure agave and combines three distinct lots aged in American and French oak barrels.

“Our goal was to craft a tequila with layers of flavor that would set this añejo apart,” said founder McCauley Williams in a statement. “Each sip reveals something new, making the experience both dynamic and refined.”

The blend includes:

  • Double-barreled batch (65%): Aged 6.7 months in American oak and 11 months in French oak, producing deep colors and notes of caramel, caramel corn, vanilla and subtle smoke.
  • Single American oak batch (18%): Aged 20.7 months, offering a light color with delicate notes of chalk and limestone.
  • Single American oak batch (17%): Aged 20.2 months, darker in color with an intriguing mix of vanilla and subtle vinegar tang.

Launched in 2023 to support jaguar conservation in the U.S. and Mexico, Alma del Jaguar donates proceeds to organizations like the Northern Jaguar Project, co-founded by Williams’ uncle, Rick Williams, according to the brand. Alma del Jaguar also uses 100% recycled Mexican glass bottles, agave fiber labels, repurposed cork closures and recycled cardboard packaging—all sourced locally within 85 miles of the distillery.

Alma del Jaguar Tequila Añejo is available now for an SRP of $79.99.
