Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One Team just launched a unique 1959 bottling, crafted to commemorate Aston Martin’s debut in Formula One.
Revealed for the first time at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Glenfiddich 1959 pays tribute to both companies’ legacies, according to Glenfiddich. Drawn from a rare sherry butt, the whisky opens with a deep mahogany hue. The nose is layered with notes of oak, aged leather, tannin and beeswax mingling with an earthy essence.
On the palate, flavors of oaky spice intermingle with cloves, dates and walnuts, according to Glenfiddich.
The one-of-a-kind 1959 commemorative bottle is expected to be released soon.
