Society De La Rassi recently debuted a luxury, dealcoholized 100% Chardonnay sparkling wine. Crafted in Spain, the new beverage contains less than 0.5% alcohol.
“I couldn’t find anything in the current non-alcoholic wine space that truly resonated with my interests—so few brands exist with the legacy or iconic experiences of the centuries-old Champagne houses,” said founder Steve Jackson in a news release. “I want to contribute to closing that gap and offer something that elevates the category without ‘non-alcoholic’ being front and center on the label.”
Society De La Rassi’s “Neue Brut” is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes of the 2023 vintage, the company states. The brand implements vacuum distillation for dealcoholization to preserve the wine’s authentic body, essence and bubbles. The flagship “Neue Brut” also features a low sugar content of 1.2g per 100-ml, in line with traditional Brut Champagne, with only 15 calories per serving.
“Society De La Rassi is inspired by luxury heritage brands like Louis Vuitton and Hermès. We love the idea of legacy, and despite being a new brand, want to bring that timeless, high-quality feel to our design,” said marketing director Wesley Davis in the release. “Everything, from the grapes to the glass, is of the highest quality. We didn’t cut any corners, and that’s really important to us.”
Society De La Rassi is now available online and at select retailers nationwide in single 750-ml bottles at an SRP of $70 and 6-bottle packs at an SRP of $420.
