American whiskey brand Lost Lantern just announced expanded distribution into Massachusetts and Vermont, alongside existing availability in New York and California.

Since its launch in 2020, Lost Lantern has released single casks, single-distillery blends and multi-distillery blends.

Originally, Lost Lantern’s whiskies were available exclusively online through its website and select digital retail partners, the distillery states. However, the brand expanded into brick-and-mortar distribution last year, starting with New York and California through Park Street Imports. With the addition of key distribution partners, Lost Lantern is now available in Massachusetts through Burke Distributing Corporation and in Vermont via the Division of Liquor Control.

“Lost Lantern debuted in late 2020 when whiskey enthusiasts were increasingly turning to online shopping during the pandemic,” said co-founder Adam Polonski in a news release. “As consumer behavior shifts back toward purchasing from trusted local retailers, we want to meet them where they are. This expansion will make it easier for whiskey lovers to access our bottlings and explore the true breadth of American whiskey.”

In addition, retailers and clubs in these markets will now have access to Lost Lantern’s Private Barrel program, according to the distillery.
