Casa Del Sol Partners with Southern Glazer’s for U.S. Distribution

Casa Del Sol Tequila, co-founded by Mexican-American actress, producer, director and entrepreneur Eva Longoria, has announced a national distribution deal with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (“Southern Glazer’s”) to handle their distribution across 41 U.S. markets and Canada. 

“We are excited to continue the great relationship we have with Southern Glazer’s and their incredible team,” said Longoria in a news release. “The growth of this partnership represents such a pivotal moment for Casa Del Sol and Southern’s expanding belief in backing female-led, sustainably-driven producers.” 

“Casa Del Sol is a dynamic brand that has experienced exponential growth and great momentum in its first three years of business,” added Wayne Chaplin, CEO of Southern Glazer’s. “We are proud to expand our relationship as part of our agave portfolio and we look forward to a long and successful partnership.”

New C-Suite Team Member

This announcement comes in conjunction with the appointment of Sean Eckhardt joining the brand’s C-Suite team as Chief Commercial Officer, the company states. As CCO, Eckhardt will be instrumental in launching the brand in new markets. Prior to joining the Casa Del Sol team, Eckhardt served as SVP of U.S. Sales at Bacardi USA where he drove the sales strategy for brands including Patrón and Grey Goose. He also served as SVP at Southern Glazer’s where he spearheaded the Sales & Marketing teams for the TransAtlantic division.

Casa Del Sol’s four expressions, Blanco, Reposado, Añejo and 11:11 Angel’s Reserve, are currently available in 45 markets throughout the country as well as throughout Mexico, Canada and France, which the brand recently launched in following a successful partnership at Vogue World: Paris in June, the company states.
