Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) has appointed Jamie Gruwer to the role of senior Vice President, National Accounts On Premise, effective August 26, 2024.
In this role, Gruwer will report to Chris Williams, Executive Vice President, National Accounts, and will be responsible for developing strategies to increase the overall success of Southern Glazer’s on-premise customers, expand supplier partners’ national market presence and mentor National Accounts employees to build strategic, lasting relationships. Gruwer will be relocating from South Florida to Dallas, TX to drive collaboration with her National Accounts On Premise (NAOP) team, the company states.

A Track Record of Success
“Jamie has a proven track record of unlocking efficiencies across all three tiers,” added Gene Sullivan, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Southern Glazer’s, in the release. “We are excited to utilize her insights to unlock value, drive category growth, and cultivate best-in-class relationships with both our customers and suppliers.”
Gruwer currently serves as Vice President, Supplier & Customer Collaboration for Southern Glazer’s and has spent the past six years developing and executing cross-functional synergy programs to unlock savings, efficiencies and additional revenue-generating opportunities across the end-to-end value chain. Prior to this role, Gruwer held the position of Senior Director, Supply Chain and Operations Strategy at Southern Glazer’s, the company states.
In 2019, Gruwer graduated from Southern Glazer’s Exceptional Leaders Program. Gruwer joined the company’s team in 2016 after spending five years as a Management Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Advisory, working on complex mergers and acquisitions, supply chain management and IT-related projects, including the 2016 merger of Southern Wine and Glazer’s, Inc. Gruwer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from the University of Texas at Austin, according to the company.
