Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) last week announced that its podcast, Served Up, has reached a significant milestone with the release of its 200th episode. This special episode, which listeners can now find on their favorite podcast platforms, features notable moments with guests, reflections on the co-hosts’ experiences and exciting plans for the future of the Podcast, the company states.
Co-hosted by Bridget Albert, senior director, external communications and Julie Milroy, vice president, supplier development and marketing, Served Up – The Podcast, provides a platform for guests to discuss their personal and professional experiences within the beverage industry and beyond, aiming to inform and inspire its audience. The 200th episode is particularly special, as it encapsulates the essence of the podcast through a collection of memorable episodes and insightful discussions that have resonated with listeners over the years, according to the company. From heartfelt stories shared by well-known guests such as Sam Heughan and Christie Brinkley, to industry insights from leaders like Aubrey Slater, Philana Bouvier, and many others, this milestone episode is a testament to the impact Served Up has had on its diverse audience.
Podcast Popularity Throughout the Years
“I never imagined when Served Up was created that we would be a Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards Top 10 nominee,” said Albert in a news release. “Our podcast is driven by the guest’s story with the goal to inspire our listeners. We aim to create a safe space for our guests to share their journey authentically, which often serves as motivation for us and our audience.”
“When Bridget proposed starting a podcast, I was hesitant. I didn’t listen to podcasts and had built my career by keeping my personal thoughts to myself,” said Milroy in the release. “Now, 200 episodes later, Served Up has made me a better leader and person. It taught me that sharing your thoughts and experiences can be powerful. I’m grateful to Bridget and Southern Glazer’s for this platform to inspire others.”
Served Up has garnered more than 112,000 listens in 60 countries and is ranked in the top five percent of podcasts globally, the company states.
