Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) has been recognized as one of America’s Best Employers for New Grads 2024. This award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the company states.
Southern Glazer’s has been supporting young professionals through programs like Next Gen, an initiative designed to appeal to recent college graduates and develop them into future leaders at the company. Led by the Southern Glazer’s Human Resources Early Career team, participants benefit from immersive rotational assignments, intensive and ongoing training, leadership development, mentoring and networking opportunities that meet the needs of the business, according to the company.

The Decision Process
America’s Best Employers for New Grads are identified in an independent survey from a sample of over 100,000 U.S. young professionals (employees that have less than 10 years of work experience) from all industry sectors working for companies employing at least 1,000 people within the U.S., the company states.
The final score is based on two types of evaluations: personal (those given by employees themselves, also known as direct evaluations) and public (those given by friends and family members of employees, or members of the public who work in the same industry – also known as indirect evaluations), according to the company.
Additional data was gathered via publicly available company information and was analyzed using a scoring model. More than two million employer evaluations were considered. Based on the results of the study, Southern Glazer’s states that it is ecstatic to be recognized on the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for New Grads 2024.
