Southern Glazer’s Appoints Jennifer Chaplin Tolkin to VP of Commercial Sales, Campari Division

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) just appointed Jennifer Chaplin Tolkin to the role of Vice President of Commercial Sales, Campari Division, effective September 9, 2024.

In her new position, Chaplin Tolkin will report directly to Garrett McGuiness, Senior Vice President, Managing Director, Campari Division, and will lead all sales execution activities and be responsible for partnering on short- and long-term strategic planning, implementing programs and ensuring sales objectives are achieved. She will also prepare sales forecasts, partner on route-to-market strategies and much more, the company states.

Chaplin Tolkin will continue her duties with Human Resources focused on championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and women’s leadership, including leading the annual Women in Leadership Conference – a gathering focused on advancing careers in the wine and spirits industry.

Bringing Additional Success to Campari

Chaplin Tolkin Continues to Advance SGWS

Chaplin Tolkin joined the Southern Glazer’s team in 2017 as a Communications and Events Manager in the Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility department, the company states. She was then appointed to the roles of National Director, Aperol Strategy and Director, Supplier Management & Business Development.

In her most recent role, Chaplin Tolkin held the position of Vice President, Family-Owned Brands and East Region Trade Development Director where she oversaw supplier strategy and performance on a national and regional level for the many family-owned brands in Southern Glazer’s portfolio. Since joining Southern Glazer’s, Chaplin Tolkin has been a strong advocate for DEI, championing programs to advance women at both the company and in the industry, and currently serves as a Board member for the Alliance for Hospitality Equity & Diversity for New York University, according to the company.

Chaplin Tolkin will be spending her evenings attending Kellogg Executive Business School in the fall of 2024.
