Bottled rum and canned cocktail producer Club Kokomo Spirits has announced a new partnership with craft beverage distributor Stone Distributing Company as the exclusive partner for Southern California, from Santa Barbara to San Diego and east to Palm Springs.
“We are delighted to partner with Stone Distributing Company and expand our footprint in sunny Southern California. We launched a family band here 60 years ago and it is exciting to be launching the next chapter of a family business inspired by our Southern California roots,” said Mike Love, Club Kokomo Spirits’ founder and chairman, in a news release. “This collaboration marks a huge milestone for Club Kokomo Spirits. Stone Distributing’s talented team is well-positioned to bring our craft products to the wider California market, raising the bar for the rum category overall,” adds Brian Love, Co-Founder of Club Kokomo Spirits.
Produced and distilled in San Diego, California, Club Kokomo Spirits is the result of a shared vision of a legendary rockstar and decorated master distiller, Geoff Longenecker, the company states. Earlier this year, the brand released its first line of bottled rums, which includes the flagship Artisanal White Rum, the Tahitian Vanilla Rum and the Barrel Finished Rum. Both the Artisanal White and Barrel Finished won Double Gold medals, scoring 97 points and 95 points respectively at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC).
