Sogrape just announced the launch of solisto Sparkling Wine in the U.S. solisto will be imported by Evaton, the U.S. distributor for Sogrape’s portfolio of Portuguese wines, the company states.
The newest addition to Evaton’s portfolio of wine and spirits, solisto is crafted by the winemaking team behind Silk & Spice, according to the company.
“With its exquisite flavor and premium appearance, solisto aims to establish itself as the premier sparkling wine in the U.S., an alternative to Italian prosecco,” said Filipe Gonçalves, Chief Marketing Officer at Sogrape, in a news release. “Each bottle of solisto captures Portugal’s vibrant energy; when you enjoy solisto with friends, you are sharing Portugal’s spirit.”
solisto Combines Sweet and Floral Notes
solisto presents aromas and flavors of white peach, pear and nectarine, with subtle floral notes, the company states. This Portuguese blend is comprised of all indigenous grapes including 55% Maria Gomes, 28% Cercial and 17% Alvarinho from the Vinho Verde region.
solisto is priced at $14.99 (SRP) and will be available at wine and spirits retailers in select markets, including MA, NJ, MI and WI starting in May 2024.
