A decade into the family business, Ironclad Distillery has expanded to open a notable bed and breakfast where guests can enjoy bourbon tasting. The company purchased the historic Kenmore Inn, renaming the venture the Ironclad Inn & Bourbon Tasting Room, the distillery states.
“We are now open and ready to serve our guests,” said Stephen King, founder and president of Ironclad Distillery Co. and the Ironclad Inn & Bourbon Tasting Room, in a news release. “We have much to offer in this unique experience and can’t wait to give travelers and bourbon enthusiasts something different to enjoy.”
Ironclad Provides a Cozy Southern Atmosphere
Sitting areas, southern breakfast items and bourbon tastings and cocktails are all in one place when people stay at the new Ironclad Inn & Bourbon Tasting Room. Nine rooms accommodate overnight guests, some located in the historic home’s original area and others in the 1930s addition, the distillery states. There’s also two bourbon tasting rooms, giving guests a place to mingle and enjoy a nightcap.
“Once you walk through this place, you can’t help but love it,” added King. “And once you try our bourbon, you can’t help but love it as well. The historic home and our great bourbon go hand-in-hand. It doesn’t get any better than a bed, breakfast, and bourbon.”
