Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) has announced the appointment of Dave Lane to Executive Vice President, Commercial Strategy. Lane will lead strategy and strategic processes across all RNDC Commercial teams and will report to Chief Operating Officer Bob Hendrickson.
In this role, Lane will identify, assemble and lead a team to drive growth for all key stakeholders, supplier and customer partners. The team will include Robert Weygandt VP, RNDC Trading Company and Carina Sarbaugh, Director of Commercial Strategy and Growth.
“Dave has been successful in his role as Senior Vice President of National Accounts-Retail and I’m excited to have him take on this role,” Hendrickson said.
“I look forward to taking this next step with RNDC and am excited about the opportunity to create new pathways to achieve accelerated growth,” Lane said.
Lane joined RNDC in 2019, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of National Accounts-Retail. Prior to joining, Lane was the President and Chief Operating Officer at Terlato Wines International. Lane’s experience also included 14 years in sales and marketing at E&J Gallo Winery where his last assignment was creating and leading marketing for Gallo’s first import wine platform.
Lane is a passionate advocate for education and growth for those in his communities. He served as the past president of the Lake Forest District 115 School Board where he navigated the district through the challenges of the COVID crisis and is also a member of and past Chairman of the Florida State University (FSU) Foundation Board of Trustees where he led during FSU’s first $1 billion fundraising campaign. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from FSU as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from Duke University.
