Quintessential Wines Opens Distribution Operations in NY and NJ

Napa-based Quintessential Wines has announced the recent expansion of its distribution services to now include on- and off-premise accounts in New York and New Jersey.

The family-owned fine wine sales and marketing company presently offers direct distribution in California, with this being the first time they’ve extended operations to the East Coast. Customers in NJ and NY are now able to place their orders directly through their local sales representative.

“Growing our direct distribution services to include New Jersey and New York ultimately gives our customers there more control,” says Dennis Kreps, co-owner with his father, Stephen D. Kreps, of Quintessential. “They will be the first to know about monthly campaigns, have priority access to allocations, and will receive the highest level of customer service they have come to know from our award-winning import operations.”

The Quintessential portfolio consists of wines from places such as Argentina (Bodegas Bianchi, New Age, Pasqual Toso), Australia (3 Rings, Grant Burge, Hardy’s, Kay Brothers, Paringa, St. Hallett), California (Atlas Peak, Eponymous, Foppiano, Geyser Peak, Ironstone, Lucas & Lewellen), France (Cachette, Chateau Ferry Lacombe, Georges Duboeuf, Gustave Lorentz), Italy (Ascevi, Attilo Ghisolfi, Bel Colle, Da Luca Prosecco, Leda Truffle Hunter, Luca Bosio, Tropical Moscato), New Zealand (Haymaker and Mud House), Spain (Bodegas Muriel, Figuero, Pazo Cilleiro, Vina Eguia), UK (Echo Fall’s and Stone’s Ginger) and more.

“We are focused on delivering higher profitability on wines that our retailers and restaurants can be proud to sell,” says Kreps. “We value the long-term relationships we share with our customers and look forward to supporting them more closely throughout these challenging and uncertain times.”
