Global luxury wine and spirits company Moët Hennessy has taken over distribution of Château d’Esclans, known for its fast-growing Whispering Angel brand.
The change includes distribution across the U.S. in all 50 states.
Moët Hennessy will work alongside Sacha Lichine, president of Chateau D’Esclans, who will continue to oversee the estate and manage its future development.
“I am thrilled about our alliance with Moët Hennessy USA,” says Lichine. “I look forward to continuing the journey of enhancing the brand’s presence with discerning customers, unique prospects and those who appreciate not only our tiered range of entry-level rosés, but our premium and super premium wines from the echelon of the estate, which will complement the top end of the MH portfolio.”
Further terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Château d’Esclans’ leading rosés from Provence, to our roster of celebrated brands,” says Seth Kaufman, president and CEO of Moet Hennessy. “This exceptional portfolio of luxury wines is uniquely positioned to compliment and amplify our wine business, truly taking it to the next level. Our team is excited to hit the ground running with the full support of our teams come December.”
Moët Hennessy takes over from the previous distributor, Shaw-Ross International Distributors.
