Overview:
The Occupational Health and Sustainability Director will work under the direction of the VP of EHS to enhance and execute Southern Glazers Wine and Spirits (SGWS) environmental and industrial hygiene standards. This role involves activities that include, but are not limited to, general industrial hygiene plans such as hearing conservation, indoor air quality, respiratory, hazardous chemicals, asbestos, and mold management, in addition to occupational health program such as injury response (first aid/CPR/AED), ergonomics, bloodborne-pathogens, and personal protective equipment. S/he will research and prepare actions to eliminate or control health hazards, and advise senior leadership on performing in-depth monitoring, testing, and field sampling for those health hazards, when warranted. Under the direction of the VP of EHS, the candidate will lead and manage all occupational health and industrial hygiene program objectives as well as manage SGWS’ environmental compliance and sustainability.
