NBWA Announces Virtual Conference for 2020

The 83rd annual convention for the National Beer Wholesalers Association will be a bit different than the 82 preceding events.

The NBWA has announced that its 2020 convention will be entirely virtual, owing to the Covid-19 crisis. The event takes place online, Oct. 4-7.

“The virtual platform has many benefits and will be a great resource for all beer distribution employees to participate in the general session, attend education seminars and visit the virtual interactive product showcase, all from the convenience of their office or home,” the association writes on its website. “Take advantage of the increased flexibility and accessibility the virtual format provides, including the ability to re-watch sessions at your own convenience.”

For anyone who already registered for the in-person convention planned for Orlando, your registration will be transferred to the virtual event, and you will be refunded the difference, according to the organization’s website. For registration questions, email NBWA’s Jenna Sugg at jsugg@nbwa.org.

If you made a hotel reservation at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, it will be canceled by the hotel and you will receive a confirmation email.
