Amber Beverage Group (ABG) has acquired 100% of Think Spirits, an Australian-based distribution business.
Having first acquired a majority stake of 90% in Think Spirits in 2018, ABG has taken over full ownership of the company as part of its strategy to become a multinational beverage company. Think Spirits Founder, Patrick Borg, and his team will remain in the business and no operational changes are expected.
“We are delighted to be entrusting our family business to the very capable team at ABG,” says Patrick Borg, Founder and Managing Director of Think Spirits says. “Having established the business in 2004, we have built it up to become one of the leading players in the Australian drinks trade and being 100% owned by ABG will give us the opportunity to expand even further. Even with the challenging conditions over the last few months, our business is doing extremely well and our figures are way ahead of last year, which is great for all of us.”
