Overview

The Portfolio Manager will work with Sales Directors to develop a complete supply chain strategy to deliver high-level results to the division.

Duties and Responsibilities

·Responsible for achieving predetermined brand, volume, distribution and other related sales activity goals (displays,retail ads, shelf placement, drink lists, menus, managed promotions, etc.) on monthly and quarterlybasis

· Maintain and analyze sales of portfolio of brands for assigned area ofresponsibility

·Ensures that efforts/visits/programs are aligned around focus geography and targetaccounts

·Responsible for working with, training and developing sales force within specific target accounts as well asoverall assigned area of responsibility on elements of the integrated sales and marketingstrategy

·Manage time and resources to obtain disproportionate share of mind from general sales force as well as tradecustomers with concentration on growing KPIs as designated in the planningprocess

·Responsible for tracking key performance metrics, including conducting regular surveys in area ofresponsibility

·Responsible for planning and tracking weekly pre plans by directreports

·Ensure accurate and timely communication of changing field conditions that effect volumes to management,while managing all economic budgets that may be assigned on behalf of theCompany

·Travel to customer sites frequently; perform moderate moving andlifting of merchandisePerform other job related duties as assignedQualifications

Minimum Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

· 3 years of relevant experience

·Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed

· Must possess a valid driver license and secure and maintain auto-liability insurance in accordance with state laws

·Criticalnatureofthisjobmayrequireextendedhours,overtimeandweekends

Preferred Qualifications

·Knowledgeoffederal,Stateandlocallawsaffectingthebeverage/alcoholindustrywithinaccountresponsibility

·Comprehensive understanding of wine and spirits to include regions/varietals, product/food pairing techniques,basic production, andservice

• Ability to project a positive, professional image at alltimes

•Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines and maintaining high level of quality output

· Ability to communicate enthusiasm for the product and category

·Ability to use and understand supplier specificapplication

· Ability to adapt and can assist a variety of internal customer groups and varying personalitytypes

Physical Demands

·Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

· Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
