A premium rye brand has increased its distribution.
In the second quarter of 2019, WhistlePig will launch with Republic National Distribution Company (RNDC) in North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska and New Mexico.
WhistlePig is also re-aligning with RNDC in Kentucky.
RNDC currently distributes WhistlePig in Oklahoma and Michigan.
“We’re dedicated to the continuing the expansion of our core range of 10-, 12- and 15-year aged super-premium rye whiskies to markets that have been waiting for a long time,” says Jeff Kozak, CEO of WhistlePig Whiskey. “We are excited to bring the ‘Pig’ to these markets with our talented team, and will rely on the market expertise that RNDC brings to support consumer awareness and sales.”
WhistlePig also recently launched its new PiggyBack 6-Year Rye, and obtained a $55 million credit line with the goal of further expansion.
“The WhistlePig brand is positioned for growth in the super premium whiskey category, and RNDC looks forward to working with them to bring this remarkable brand to new markets and new consumers,” says Scott Lammert, SVP supplier business development of RNDC. “RNDC is excited to expand our relationship with the team from WhistlePig.”
