O’Neill Vintners & Distillers Expands Partnerships with Breakthru, Young’s

O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has expanded its partnerships with two different distributors in Pennsylvania and California.

Effective March 1, Breakthru Beverage now represents O’Neill’s full portfolio in Pennsylvania, which includes brands like Line 39, Robert Hall, Day Owl, Harken and Exitus. Breakthru has a well-established relationship and successful track record with O’Neill, the company says, representing their portfolio in Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin.

“Breakthru Beverage is one of our key strategic partners in the U.S. and we are delighted to add Pennsylvania to the list of markets under their stewardship,” says Mark Federighi, Chief Sales Officer for O’Neill. “We know the Breakthru Pennsylvania team is well positioned to accelerate our growth even further within the PLCB, and bring an increased focus to on premise. As we continue to grow our business, we feel confident that the Breakthru team in Pennsylvania is the right place to support our growing portfolio.”

Founded in 2004, O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has grown to become the 7th largest winery in U.S., the company says, with a vertically integrated vineyard, winery and bottling operations.

“O’Neill’s portfolio is rapidly emerging within the industry. They are well known for high quality wines from all parts of California, including the Central Coast & Paso Robles, and we are grateful for the trust and confidence they continue to invest in us,” says Kevin Roberts, Executive Vice President, Supplier Development of Breakthru. “The result in Pennsylvania is a reflection of the outstanding work our teams have accomplished in other markets, and we look forward to this ongoing success.”

O’Neill also announced an expanded distribution partnership with Young’s Market Company to represent the Robert Hall brand in California, effective April 1, 2019.

“Young’s is a key strategic partner in the West, and we are delighted to consolidate 100% of our portfolio with them in California,” says Federighi. “We know the Young’s team is well positioned to accelerate our growth of the Robert Hall brand in all channels of trade in the marketplace. As we continue to see acceleration in our business, we feel confident that Robert Hall, and the rest of our portfolio, will grow even further under the stewardship of Young’s Market Company.”

“We are very pleased that O’Neill Vintners & Distillers has chosen to partner with Young’s Market Company to bring the Robert Hall brand to California,” says Dan Grunbeck, Executive Vice President, Client Services and Business Development, Young’s Market Company. “Together, Young’s and O’Neill have experienced tremendous growth on their portfolio across the western United States, and we look forward to welcoming the Robert Hall brand to our expanding partnership.”
