RNDC Names New Senior VP of Supplier Business Development

Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) has announced the promotion of Russell Motz to senior vice president of supplier business development for its wine division.

Motz previously held the position of vice president of retail national accounts.

In his new role, Motz will have responsibility for leading the RNDC strategy related to supplier business development for wine and work closely with the sales leaders on various business initiatives.

“I am pleased to announce Russell’s promotion to this key leadership role at RNDC,” says Chief Operating Officer Bob Hendrickson. “With more than 25 years of industry experience, Russell’s expertise and proven track record of success will drive continued growth for our wine business.”

Motz joined RNDC as a Block Distributing sales representative in 1992. He went on to hold roles of district manager and division manager in the South Texas market. In 1997, Russell moved to E&J Gallo, where held multiple roles before returning to RNDC South Texas as the vice president of wine.

His career progressed to the statewide Texas position of executive vice president of wine. Most recently, he held the corporate role of vice president of retail national accounts.

Motz is a graduate of Texas State University with a BBA in Marketing. He will report directly to Hendrickson and start his new position effective June 3, 2018. He will remain based in the Grand Prairie, Texas office.
