Plans, coordinates, and directs training and staff development programs for organization.   Develops strategies and programs to increase the Company’s market share and profitability by performing the following duties.  Responsible for all sales to assigned accounts.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Works in market alongside of Sales Representatives to evaluate opportunities both on and off premise.

Works in market on supplier work contacts as assigned by the Vice President.

Conducts Friday sales training with the Sales Representatives as assigned by the Vice President

Creates innovative ways to continue building brands and developing people.  Monitors the success of this effort.

Executes the seven basics:  distribution, position display, pricing, point-of-sale, cold box, and rotation in each account, and insures that all Sales Representatives understand these basics.

Executes sales plans and maintains specified accounts according to Company standards.

Conducts needs analysis studies and confers with Managers to determine training needs.

Interacts with teammates, Managers, and customers to increase work performance proficiency and effectiveness.

Interacts with customers and suppliers to develop education needs and practices that will increase market share and profitability for all parties.

Compiles data and analyzes past and current year training requirements to prepare budgets and justify funds requested.

Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules for approval by the President or Vice President, based on knowledge of identified training needs, Company processes, business systems, or changes in products, procedures, or services.

Selects appropriate instructional procedures or methods such as individual training, group instruction, self-study, lectures, demonstrations, simulation exercise, role play, and computer based training.

Organizes and develops training manuals, a reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.

Screens, tests, counsels, and recommends employees for participation in internal or external educational training programs.

Other duties as assigned by the President or Vice President of the Company.
