Breakthru Beverage Restructures United Team

Breakthru Beverage Group announced a new leadership structure for its United Division that is dedicated to the Diageo and Moët Hennessy USA portfolios.

Effective immediately, Matt Wind will assume the role of Vice President, Business Development United Division Diageo. In his new role, Matt will be responsible for all sales and marketing in the nine United Division markets that have dedicated Diageo divisions.

Matt started his career in the beverage industry in 1993 with Romano Brothers Beverage Company in Chicago before moving to Wirtz Beverage Illinois, which at the time was known as Judge and Dolph. He continued to grow his career there and was appointed Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2011. He will continue to be based in Cicero, Ill.

Additionally, Cristian Yanez’s role will change to Vice President, Business Development United Division Moët Hennessy. Cristian has been serving as Vice President, Trade Marketing Moët Hennessy, and due to the change in our structure, his oversight has been expanded to include all sales and marketing efforts in the seven United Division markets with dedicated divisions selling Moët Hennessy. In addition, he will support our Moët Hennessy business in our franchise states as needed.

Cristian joined Breakthru Beverage Group from Moët Hennessy USA where he held the role of Vice President Trade Marketing. Prior to then, he held other Vice President Business roles within Moët Hennessy USA and worked for LVMH winery, Bodegas Chandon, in his home country of Argentina until he moved to the United States in 2007. He will continue to be based in New York.

I am confident that they will add great value to both the Diageo and Moët Hennessy businesses through these roles.”
