The incumbent will partner with SWS management team, sales associates and divisional marketing force to promote key supplier initiatives. Demonstrates ability to proactively evaluate existing strategies, track key deliverables, and recommend changes when appropriate. Supports critical Sales and Marketing initiatives with quantitative / qualitative analysis. Reports to Director, Beam Suntory Center of Excellence.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting

  • Goal Management – develop goals for trade channels, chains, territories.
  • Interact with State and divisional management teams to refine goal planning.
  • Tracking – set up and maintain tracking for sales volume, account distribution and other national initiatives.
  • Communicate and follow up on program progress including program re-caps.
  • Maintain forecasting / commits which assist in risk assessment.
  • Update and maintain various other reporting tools used by State Management.
  • Multi-state reporting responsibilities.

Analysis

  • Budget tracking/ forecasting and analysis
  • Trend Analysis – update supplier / brand scorecards, Ad-Hoc as necessary.
  • Inventory Position Analysis – includes program/incentive analysis to ensure proper levels of inventory are in place.
  • Assist in risk assessment analysis (forecast vs goals).
  • Analyze and advise on issues/concerns with tracking.
  • Develop additional tools as necessary for Sales & Marketing Management.

Qualifications

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Business objects or other data mining / query building experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills.
  • Multi-tasking capability (Adaptable & Flexible).
  • Ability to travel if needed.
  • Ability to work extended hours if required.

EDUCATION & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or relevant field.
  • Wine & Spirits Industry Knowledge or Distributor Experience a plus.
  • 1-2 years business experience or education equivalent
