The momentum continues with the launch of a new Wines of Portugal app to further promote the campaign around the world. The app serves as a portal for events, including event details, floor plans and wines featured, and features information on Portuguese grapes, wine regions and fun facts. “It’s exciting to see the demand grow for Portuguese wines in the American market, and now we’re able to increase trade and consumer knowledge with our new app,” says Nuno Vale, marketing director of Wines of Portugal. “Users will love the easy-to-use layout and the ability to rate events, browse producers and ‘favorite’ wines. With this new app, along with increased distribution of Portuguese wine across the country, trade and consumers have more opportunities than ever to discover and fall in love with wine from Portugal.”

Wines of Portugal kicked off this year’s U.S. marketing campaign with outstanding trade events, hosting the Perspective on Portugal producer showcase in San Francisco and Los Angeles and Perfect Portuguese Pairings luncheon and master class in Miami, Seattle and San Diego. Wines of Portugal also participated in the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience and Aspen Food & Wine Classic.
